HPCON BRAVO SERVICES STATUS

COMMANDER, NAVY REGION SOUTHEAST OPERATIONS ARE CURRENTLY AT HPCON BRAVO.

Service on board the installation will remain as outlined in the HPCON BRAVO Services at this time. Changes to support services will be reviewed and updates will be made on a case-by-case basis.

We will continue to follow the current Secretary of Defense guidance in regards to face masks, social distancing, and frequent hand washing.

Continue to follow all county/state guidance and precautionary measures.

This information is subject to change at any time and updates will be released accordingly. We appreciate your understanding as we navigate opportunities to continuously serve you while remaining safe and vigilant in mitigating the spread of COVID-19.

 

Mitigation applicable to all MWR Facilities/Programs

  • Hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes available at facility entrance and service counter.

STAFF

  • Staff members are required to wear a mask over their nose and mouth while in the facility.
  • Prior to beginning of their shift, each staff member will read and answer the COVID questionnaire that posted at the entrance of each facility and receive a temperature check.
  • All staff trained in COVID mitigation protocols.
  • Sufficient cleaning and sanitation supplies present at each facility.
  • Clean/sanitize the facility prior to opening, as needed throughout the workday, and at the end of the workday.
  • Ensure social distancing (greater that six feet) is practiced throughout the facility.

PATRONS

  • All patrons are required to wear a mask over their nose and mouth while in the facility.
  • Upon entering the facility, each patron will be required to read and answer the COVID questionnaire and submit to a temperature check.
  • All patrons shall practice social distancing of at least six feet from other people while in the facility.
  • Support Services allows the installation to reopen certain services with certain mitigation and limitation in place while remaining in HPCON BRAVO.

The health and well-being of our personnel and their families remain our top priority. COVID-19 can infiltrate our force, and we bear an obligation to maintain mission readiness, ensure mission assurance, and protect the health of our force.

With that in mind, we have determined that with well thought our controls and mitigations; the installation can offer some services without significantly increasing the COVID-19 risk to our service members and their families.

The success of failure of this phase will inform the way ahead when determining the next phases of restoration.

NAVY MWR MID-SOUTH EVENTS
Some NAVY MWR Mid-South events have been cancelled, postponed or modified to provide the availability online. Updates to all MWR events will be posted accordingly to the event page on this website and the MWR Facebook page.

MWR OPEN FACILITIES_________________________________

Outdoor Recreation (Open)

  • Cashless. Credit Card will be the only form of payment accepted.
  • No waiting area. If a patron chooses to wait it must be in their vehicle.
  • Rental items will be disinfected upon return.
  • Reduced inventory of check out items (see list published.)
  • Inflatables are not available for rental.
  • Items available for rent: Tables, Chairs, Grills, Yard Games, Balls, Coolers,
    Generators, Tillers, Fans, Bikes, Canoe/Kayak and Trailers. Inflatables will
    not be available for rental.

Ellison Community Recreation and Liberty Center (Open)

  • Cashless. Credit Card will be the only form of payment accepted.
  • Reduced seating all areas in support of social distancing.  Note seats in theater have been blocked off to provide 2 seats/2 rows between customers.
  • Private parties not allowed at this time.
  • Reduced capacity in recreation space - only one pool table open, every other computer station open.
  • Patrons will check out games from MWR staff member.
  • All patrons will wipe down the areas used prior to departing.
  • No food or drinks provided at events.

Auto Skills Center (Open)

  • Cashless. Credit Card will be the only form of payment accepted.
  • No waiting area. If a patron chooses to wait it must be in their vechicle.
  • Bays will be limited to 2 personnel only.
  • Only bay 1 and bay 3 will be open to promote social distancing.
  • Mechanics will be on standby, but will not provide customers with educational assistance.
  • Bays will be cleaned by patron before departure.
  • Patrons will be required to clean used tools with disinfectant before departure.
  • Bays will be additionally sanitized by staff once customer departs.
  • Offer instructional classes with maximum of five customers in an open air space where mask and distancing can be practiced.

Glen Eagle Golf Course and Eagles Peak (Open)

  • INDOOR DINING,Pick-Up Service and Outdoor dining.
  • Cashless. Credit Card will be the only form of payment accepted.
  • Tee times will be available from 7:30am - 5:00pm each day.
  • Tee times will be spaced 10 minutes apart.
  • Tee times are strongly encouraged at all times.
  • Groups must be a minimum of 2 players to make a tee time.
  • Players will pair in golf carts 2 people per cart.
  • All rakes, ball washers and coolers will be removed from golf course.
  • Bottled drinks and a limited grab & go food items will be available in the golf shop.
  • Driving range will be open.

Helmsman Complex (Open)

  • INDOOR DINING, Curbside Pick-Up Service and Outdoor dining.
  • Cashless. Credit Card will be the only form of payment accepted.
  • Lunch service is Monday - Friday | 1100-1330.
  • Customers will not enter the facility.

Joe Dugger Fitness Center 

  • Joe Dugger Fitness Center Access: ALL AUTHORIZED PATRONS
  • The Joe Dugger Fitness Center is free of charge to all active duty, retirees, dependents, DoD civilians and select reserves.
  • Cashless. Credit Card will be the only form of payment accepted.
  • Partner workouts are suspended. Recommend patrons avoid lifting heavy weight as using a “spotter” does not meet social distancing.
  • Fitness Center, Group exercise room and Synthetic Field will be used.
  • Facility amenities are suspended – including water fountains (except bottle fillable station), towel program, rental items, Sauna/Steam rooms, and Showers.
  • Cardio equipment selectively closed off to ensure 10 ft. of distancing.

Navy Getaways (Open)

  • Applicable to Navy Getaways (Bldg. 447, 448, 449, 544, 545, 546, and 547)
  • Cashless. Credit Card will be the only form of payment accepted.
  • Common areas (laundry facility, GB Kitchen, and RV Park Bathhouse) will have limited patronage at a time, and will be cleaned twice daily.  Laundry Facility – 4 patrons, GB Kitchen – 3 patrons, Bathhouse – 2 patrons
  • Sanitizer will be available at each common area for patrons use.
  • Employees utilize Plexiglas face shields at registers/check in station.
  • Staff clean and disinfect frequently
  • Silverware will be wrapped and switched out prior to patrons check-in.

Samuel Adams Brew house (Open)

  • Applicable to Samuel Adams Brewhouse
  • INDOOR DINING, Curbside Pick-Up Service and Outdoor dining.
  • Cashless. Credit Card will be the only form of payment accepted.

The Navy Mid-South Youth Center’s Summer Camp is currently forming a Waiting List for Kindergarteners through 6th graders (current grades). The camp program will run from 24 May-6 August (11 weeks). Sponsors interested in the program may begin their registration process by establishing/updating a profile on MilitaryChildCare.com (mcc.com). MCC.com ranks the Waiting List according to a family’s military/DoD eligibility category. Sponsors may choose their desired weeks. Weekly DoD Fees are charged according to family income and include all activities as well as USDA Breakfast, Lunch & Snack. Questions? Please call the Youth Center at (901) 874-5155.

CDC & SAC RESTRICTIONS
Navy childcare programs are critical for our Service members who need to go to work every day, serving both at home and abroad. During the current COVID-19 crisis we are adapting our Child and Youth Program (CYP) operations to meet both the Navy’s mission and family requirements, while ensuring the children in our care and our professionals are healthy and safe.

Effective March 17 the following “social distancing” changes have been implemented:

  • All Programs/Services that are NOT full-time childcare (ages 0-12) cancelled/postponed until further notice/continual monitoring
  • All Hourly Childcare cancelled (unless emergency/ mission essential)
  • All Youth Sports, Youth/Teen Programs, Field Trips away from Navy Childcare facilities cancelled
  • No New childcare enrollees into Navy operated programs (unless emergency/mission essential)
  • Parents are required to self-care for own children at home if Navy full-time telework agreement during COVID-19 pandemic is executed, parent fees will be waived/space saved
  • Parent fees will be waived/space saved for all personnel who elect to voluntarily temporary withdrawal their child for at least two weeks or until May 1, 2020
  • Installations may request waivers to reduce program operating hours
  • Supplemental staffing required from other N9 programs for increased cleaning/sanitation
  • Background check requirements waived but supplemental staff always in line of sight supervision of “blue smock” CYP employee and not in ratio
  • School Liaison Officers Assigned to CDC/SAC to supplement
  • All training requirements postponed
  • All Teacher in-Service Days cancelled
  • Increased handwashing and sanitation practices (e.g. cleaning door handles, hard surfaces, etc.)
  • Minimize visitors (e.g. postpone all non-critical facility maintenance, etc.)
  • Staff shall complete all sign in/out protocols
  • Discontinue Family Style Dining (staff will plate food for children)
  • Discontinue Tooth Brushing and Use of Sensory Tables
