EVENT: Great Navy Camp Out Discover Your Adventure
DATE: Saturday & Sunday, Sept. 21 - 22
LOCATION: NSA Mid-South 9/11 Memorial Field - Behind Outdoor Rec. at 5671 Intrepid St. | Bldg. S-797.
DETAILS: Come camp with MWR Community Recreation! This is open to all authorized personnel with base access and their guests. This is not open to the general public. Discover your adventure and connect with nature & wildlife on Saturday & Sunday, Sept. 21 - 22. You could participate in a leisure skills class, learn valuable camping tips and tricks and even enjoy a dinner cookout & movie under the stars. Drop in activities include soccer, cornhole, bean bag toss, crafts and more. All activities are FREE!
SIGN UP: You can reserve your camping site and goody bag online at https://forms.gle/94274U1m5HBFi7cw6. Camping tents can also be reserved when you register online to participate. Campers are also welcome to bring their own equipment as well. Limited camping tents and goody bags are available and reservations are required.
SUGGESTED SUPPLIES TO BRING:
Tent, Sleeping Bag, Sleeping Pad, Camping Chairs, Pillow, Flashlight, Snacks, Games, Bug Spray & Hand Sanitizer.

Pledge to Camp
The Navy MWR Community Recreation and Liberty programs are encouraging participants to get out and enjoy the great outdoors, whether it’s their first or hundredth time, in a backyard or a national park! Explore and share your adventures each month from Memorial Day weekend through October for your chance to win a $500 gift card! Two winners will be randomly selected each month: one E1-E5 winner and one winner selected from E6 and above military personnel and other eligible MWR patrons. At the end of the event in October, two grand prize winners will be randomly selected for a $2,500 gift card! There will be one E1-E5 grand prize winner and one grand prize winner selected from E6 and above military personnel and other eligible MWR patrons All you have to do is Pledge to Camp.
